Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook status-from single to married
Mark Zuckerberg,
CEO and founder of Facebook changed his status from single to married as he ties the knot to Priscilla Chan. The wedding was announced, of course, on his Facebook page and in few hours hundreds of thousands facebook users "liked" the news.
28-year old Mark made a life changing decision two days after the social networking site had the biggest tech IPO in history. Everyone was surprised including the friends and colleagues of Mark in Facebook.
"With all the news that Facebook had been taking up this week, this is the one that no one expected. On the heels of the second largest IPO in history, the CEO gets married," said Joe Brown, editor for tech blog Gizmodo.
Forbes’ Brian Caulfield first reported on Friday that Zuckerberg seemed to be preparing for a party at his five-bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom home in the Bay Area suburb. On Friday, a truck from Hartmann Studios, a thirty-year old company is known for staging high-end weddings, fundraisers, and corporate events, was parked in the driveway of the home (forbes.com).

Will Smith slaps a reporter in Moscow
Will Smith
slapped a Ukrainian male television reporter-Vitalii Sediuk who embraced him and attempted to kiss him on the lips as he walked down the red carpet outside the movie theatre on Friday May 18, 2012 for the Moscow premiere of "Men in Black III." Smith pushed him away and slapped him lightly across the cheek with the back of his left hand. Smith asked the man, "Come on man, what the hell is your problem buddy?"
"He's lucky I didn't sucker punch him," Smith said to the crowd of journalists and fans. "Oh, I said that on camera. It's all good." He said Serdiuk kissed him on the mouth, but it was not clear whether the reporter intended to do so or was aiming for his cheek as Smith swiveled to avoid him.
Vitalii Sediuk, a reporter from the Ukrainian television channel 1+1 made a scene at the Venice Film Festival in September when he gave a bouquet of clearly unappreciated purple hydrangeas to Madonna and called her "my princess".

Don't be surprised if
Facebook will make major changes on its design and business approach which will directly impact its existing users. Facebook officially announced that it will be entering the world of stock market this week which may change facebook user's experience. Facebook will have to meet certain level of quarterly income (net profit) in order for its business to succeed while competing the giant company google, yahoo, and other competitors. It is essential for a company who goes into stock listing to monetize in order to continue its operation. No profit means no investors.
The most common approach to monitize the site is through advertisements. Currently, there are limited ads being shown in Facebook but this may abruptly change. So don't be surprised of those possible intrusive ads within the next few days. For the benefit of those who don't know what 'intrusive ads' are, those are ads which are unpleasant or irrelevant and bears no structured purpose in reference to the web content or article where the ads are being displayed. It could also be an unwanted pop up dialog boxes asking you to buy something which annoys web users. These are just the few possible things that you can expect due to this Facebook revolution.

Lean and leggy, Jenna Talackova first-ever transgender contestant flaunted her beauty as she walked on the stage last night for the Miss Universe pageant. 6-foot-1, long blond wavy hair, wearing the standard-issue red backless dress and strappy stilettos, sashays across the stage, big smile, eye contact with the audience. They cheer. About to exit, she adds a signature touch, a saucy twirl of her skirt, a move utterly female.

Pamila rape case against Erick Shcks-Panama Maritime Authority
In a press statement, Erick Shcks, a technical officer of the Panama Maritime Authority, said he engaged in sexual intercourse with the complainant “Pamela” (not her real name) last April 23 but stressed that the act was consensual(abs-cbnnews).
“I never raped her. I admit the fact that we did engage in consensual sex in the night the incident she reported happened. It was never my nature to force people to do something for me that they don’t want,” Shcks said(abs-cbnnews).
DiversityHuman.com says, this is a pure replica of subic rape case in which Nicole accused Lance Cpl. Daniel Smith for a rape and sexual assault(aboutmyrecovery.com).
These are some questions that I want clear answers from Pamela.
1. Can she exactly define what rape is all about?
2. Why the hell in world go to a foreigner's apartment instead of having a casual date in public?
3. What were her expectations before she went into Erick's apartment? Was she expecting a prayer meeting inside Erick's place?

Granville Ampong's article quoted Manny Pacquaio regarding same
sex marriage saying "marriage should not be of the same sex so as to adulterate the altar of matrimony, like in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah of Old. He was also cited of a statement taken from Leviticus 20:13, which says: "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." (yahoo)
Did he exactly say these statements?
ABS-CBN reported that Manny Pacquiao is against same-sex marriage but not against gays. But since Filipino-American writer Granville Ampong wanted to get more traffic into his blog, he created a biased article with misleading statements which ruins the career of the Filipino boxer. Granville Ampong shown irresponsble journalism. The LA-outdoor mall The Grove recently barred boxer Manny Pacquiao from appearing at the Mall, today and in the future, for allegedly making homophobic remarks on a conservative website(scpr.com). But the ban was also immediately lifted (nbclosangeles.com).
So here's the statement of Granville Ampong blaming someone else.

A heroic voyage is being set by former Capt. Nicanor Faeldon who was granted amnesty for
joining the Oakwood mutiny in 2003. A show of heroism and true love for our nation will be demonstrated by Captain Faeldon and a batch of fishermen this coming Friday as they make a stand in Panatag Shoal. A brave move even without aid from United States.
Some criticized that this is just a mere display and mixed with motives for future political plans of Capt. Faeldon but DiversityHuman.com says, this is the real blood of Andres Bonifacio. Just like what others said, if DiversityHuman.com will be invited on this voyage, as the administrator of this site I will sacrifice 3 days and join the team.
I believe that the plan of the team is not to make a fight against the powerful Chinese navy but to simply show them that we are one nation and we stand what we believe to be ours.

Jeepney fare is once again set to a mininum pay of Php8 starting today. Land
Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) issued a recall order on the provisional fare increase of 0.50 that was implemented last March. This is in response to major price rollback of oil companies. Prices were cut by Php1.70 per liter for gasoline and Php1.50 per liter for diesel. Due to these price changes, gasoline is currently at Php54 per liter range, while diesel prices are now around Php44 perliter.
Atty. Manuel Iway, LTFRB Board Member, said transport groups failed to provide ample evidence that they are losing revenue. Moreover, in its last fare increase issued in March, the LTFRB declared that the provisional Php 0.50 increase for jeepney fare was conditional and agreed that it will be recalled once diesel prices hit Php45 per liter or lower.
However, transport groups said they will attempt to file an appeal regarding the LTFRB decision.

Yahoo CEO Scott Thompson, former president of eBay Inc. division PayPal
was fired from yahoo after a controversy over a fake computer science college degree on his biography. Yahoo now sets a record of three CEO replacement for the last three years.
Did he submit a transcript of records which was made in Quiapo? Of course, you know that. It's just a bluff.
The discrepancy in Thompson's educational background was brought to light by Daniel Loeb of Third Point LLC, which is one of Yahoo's largest outside shareholders. Yahoo said in a statement that its global media head, Ross Levinsohn, will be interim CEO, replacing Thompson who has left the company.
Yahoo is struggling against its giant competitors- Google and Facebook. Can yahoo find solutions to its structural issues? Can yahoo regain a better market share?

Another warship will be added in the Philippine Navy inventory aside from the second Hamilton Class cutter that will
arrive this month, said President Ninoy Aquino. This current acquisition increases our warship inventory to three.
Speculations are all over the web whether President Ninoy Aquino decided to purchase Maestrale class frigate or Lupo class frigate from Italy. See the warship photos below. It is also being said that Philippines and Italy signed a 5 year agreement for a fast track procurement of Italian-supplied new and used military equipment.
The administration of President Ninoy Aquino has already spent $351 million dollars for the Armed Forces of the Philippines modernization program compared to roughly $50 million dollars for the past three (3) administrations.

Time magazine breast-feeding controversial cover
Time Magazine cover of a young mom proudly breastfeeding her son who is only three is shown below. But I don't think that the kid is just three (3) years old, he looks 5 or 6. So what the heck is this cover really all about?
Dr. Bill Sears, author of "The Baby Book" who advocates attachment parenting is the cause of this release and that's what the photo is all about. I don't have a copy of Time's article yet but I am just hoping that it talks about breastfeeding of semi-grown children, else Time magazine is just too desperate to make money.
Anyways, for those who already have a copy of this time magazine issue, please take some time viewing the related photos below.

A very Special Letter to a very Special Mother
In the middle of the jungle of Southern Mindanao lies a small nipa hut where a very poor family happily lives since mid 70's. No electricity, no cars, no descent water system, no malls, no everything except for the vast jungle
where the head of the family hunts anything to eat for survival and daily needs.
Living in the jungle was very difficult for the entire family. Everyday the georgeous queen waited the arrival of the king hoping for something to prepare on the table. As she looked far, her eyes showed high hopes that everything will be alright in the near future. She loved the king so much that even during dying moments, she never had second thoughts of giving out what she can give to the king. This is the story of the my ever loving mother who never gave up inspite the difficult situation we've been facing for years in this vast mountrain ranges of Souther Mindanao.
At the age of three, I already saw the difficult situation of my mother's life. Can you imagine your mom staring on the table with three empty plates while waiting for your father to arrive knowing that there's a big chance that he will be home empty handed? Many times my father just brought a couple of 'wild bananas' for our dinner. I never heard a single complaint from my mother. She approached my father, gave him a very tight hug and a very sweet kiss. This is a typical scene whenever my father arrived into our small nipa house, a scene like romeo and juliet. At times that we didn't have anything to eat my mother would approach my father and said, "fredo can we gather together with our son and pray?". Three of us were too hungry but my mother told me not to cry whenever there's no food to eat and I was taught to smile and to pray for blessings. My mother is so special to me, you know why? Everytime she leads a prayer and wished to have something to prepare, it always happen. Blessings would just poor into our house. I mean, I am talking like our neighbors(3-kms away) would knock our doors and would give us sweet potatos, dried beans, corn, and dried fish. That made me think that my mother is very close to God than I do. When things like this happened, my mom would sing and praise the Lord, she sang out loud, and it really made me happy. I know my mother made another miracle.
